AEMS is an environmental modelling consultancy which offers strategic solutions for the built environment using advanced computational tools. Building Physics
Our experts assess the architecture, structure, facades and building services to model the expected energy performance of both new and refurbished buildings.
This approach encompasses both internal and external environments and factors such as façade performance, heating, and solar shading. By using techniques such as computational fluid dynamics and dynamic thermal modelling at an early design stage, we can improve building and energy performance both within a specific area and for the building overall.
Building Performance
We deliver passive design strategies that provide real carbon and energy savings without compromising occupancy comfort.
We utilise a range of advanced computational modelling techniques. Our extensive experience in building physics allow us to assess the requirements to optimise building design to ensure high levels of natural daylight while achieving comfortable internal conditions through natural ventilation, efficient facade design, optimised orientation and site position.

Meet Our Team
Dr Antonino Saporito
Antonino has 25 years of experience in energy and environmental modelling of buildings. His work experience is in the field of building thermal simulation, daylight and solar overshadowing and microclimate wind assessment, data centre assessments and design development, energy efficiency, occupant comfort and natural ventilation in buildings, fire and smoke simulation, and air quality assessments using CFD.
